Repairs, Renovations and Reinventions.
I have been working in the upholstery industry for the last 10 years. Starting out as an apprentice in Wimborne, I gained the skills required to renovate both modern and traditional pieces.
Between studies, I worked for small companies honing skills such as deep buttoning, templating, sewing and many others.
After working for a small company in Wimborne, I decided to further my education by studying Modern and Traditional Upholstery in the London Metropolitan University;
this was an accredited AMUSF (Association of Master Upholsters and Soft Furnishers) course, for which I achieved a Diploma, completing the course after 3 years of studying and practising.
